In short, my experience at this restaurant was not great. The young lady who took my order was very pleasant, but after waiting 20 minutes, I found out they were out of jerk chicken, which was half of my order. The manager rudely tried to charge me extra for substituting with ox tails, which I didn't want. I asked for a refund instead, and the manager reluctantly did so. When I got home, the curry chicken was watery and unappetizing. I should have been skeptical when they mentioned they owned the Mexican restaurant next door. I will not be returning to this establishment.
I recently tried this restaurant for the first time, and it's conveniently located down the street from my job. The food was absolutely delicious and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. We also ordered food to go. The meal type was other and the price per person ranged from $20 to $30. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect rating of 5. I highly recommend trying the Jerk Pasta - it was one of the recommended dishes.
We waited over 20 minutes to place our order at this restaurant. The music was excessively loud, making it difficult for the server to hear us. He had to repeatedly ask for our order because of the loud music. Unfortunately, the curry goat and curry chicken were too salty to eat. Overall, the food received a rating of 2, service a 1, and the atmosphere a 1 as well.
The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing! The jerk chicken egg rolls with sauce are delicious, and the oxtails are so tender they practically fall off the bone. And don't even get me started on the rum punch - it's the best! Definitely the top spot for Jamaican food on the Southside. Book a table now

The food is perfectly seasoned and delivers the authentic Caribbean flavors you crave. The service is outstanding, just as you would expect from a Jamaican restaurant. The ambiance also meets expectations.
