Kitchen Hanzo - Table reservation

The best overall restaurant experience I had for a while. Since my trip to Japan I have spent a good amount of time searching for a Japanese izakaya in the Metro Detroit. You can search for a technical definition of an izakaya restaurant on Wikipedia, but for me the key is the combination of high-quality a la carte dishes, cheap drinks and an ultra casual atmosphere. To date, Kitchen Hanzo is the only place in the area that is even close; the only differences that the seat is not private and they are only open until midnight. Very impressive food! Every record was great! I loved the wort and the freshness! All dishes were prepared before us Personal I really enjoyed the roasted chicken, pork pancakes and the tempura you serve Goya! It remembered eating my mother's good service, but there is no reservation (get early)

Delicious food and very good prices. You have a permanent menu as well as a large limited time specials menu, so you never run out of interesting foods to try.

Delicious food, extremely helpful staff, and a cozy, authentic atmosphere. 3-4 plates fed two of us pretty well, we will be back!
