eating was not great, but acceptable, although I would not have paid so much for it. had the Hainan chicken rice and the brattaube with plumen juice. despite the staff and some customers say that hainan chicken rice would be delicious I found it very disappointing. the chicken was boiled over and the sauce for seasoning the hen was off. also the chili sauce came to immerse the chicken from a bottle. the rice, which was cooked with chicken stock, was also quite disappointing and that is usually one of the exciting part of the hainan chicken rice. roasted with plum juice was not bad, but not worth the $20. the part was big, but the duck was quite fat. the juice was...read more

Dissappointed.. Last Thursday we came back to KL Kitchen for lunch. We ordered an entree of sate sticks, not a real bargain at 15.50 for 4 sticks only, but it tasted very good. My guest and I both ordered Mama's Curry These dishes rice and chicken tasted very blend, the pieces of chicken were not tender. We had to ask for salt pepper Why don't they offer nice chilled water instead of luke warm? Why is there no salt and pepper set on the table? We brought our own wine but no cooler bucket was offered. The waiter is quite friendly Maybe our experience was a one-off!?
the KL cuisine is one of the few Malaysian restaurants in the potts Point/Darlinghurst area. it is located at the beautiful lankelly place, one of the latest food hubs of sydney, which are conveniently located from the hectic of the potts Point/Kings cross. tonight the grafen gönnten with some dear friends, all so well visited, their experiences have them over every culinary spectrum, from street food to fine eating and everything between the whole world. they are a great company and we love to eat with them.
Cheap, greasy and poor quality. Don't waste your money, this place delivers terrible food! Greasy, salty and cheap meats, extremely overpriced and small servings. We ordered the sweet and sour pork sickly sweet and gristly, the mongolian lamb saturated in flavour and salt to the point of sickening and the spring rolls which were soggy and greasy and the pork meat' was unrecognisable as meat looked and tasted more like salty chicken stuffing. Will never order from here again. Book a table now
Monsoon7. We were lucky enough to find this little GEM a few years ago and now have become regulars on most weeks. The food is sensational and we try a new dish on recommendation from the staff and are still working through a great list of choices. The location of the restaurant in Lankelly Place is a vibrant laneway which has a character of its own. We find that part of the charm of dining here. Great Food, great selection and great location we love it !
order pickup. very disappointed when we made up everything that there was little eating. $75 is worth seeing on our photos. the food we got was delicious, but unacceptable. they were tiny and got only 5. I wanted to complain, and they gave me a few prunks, but still not our money. Given the surrounding flowering restaurants are good values, I would think they would lift their game.
The restaurant is BYO, which is a plus, but pretty small so not a spot for big boozy get-togethers. The alfresco dining in Llankelly place would be nice in summer and KL Kitchen also offers takeaway for those who just can’t be bothered to cook tonight – it’s a pretty good alternative to Thai.
Came here last night in search of a late night dinner. My beef ratang was very average. Beef could've been softer. Very plain, and presentation left something to be desired. My wife's Bibimbap was superb though. It comes out sizzling in a cast iron bowl. Very dramatic and quite delicious. Book a table now
