We stayed at a BNB in Runaway Bay for three nights at the end of Feb 2017. We had a car rented and had the pick of the litter for restaurants at our finger tips. Our hosts suggested Kleins and are we glad they did. Our first night we got there, the staff was warm and so friendly. The food is ordered at the counter while the alcohol can be ordered from the bar right next door (which is really in the same place). We had such fun and the food was great. Prices were very reasonable. Now, we generally try different places when we travel, but we went back to Kleins three nights in a row. I got the special each night, while my wife tried the battered fish the second night. She said it was the best...
Sitting outside with an interesting view of the marina, we shared a very nice club sandwich and perfectly cooked chips. The service was great with friendly and attentive staff. Prices are very reasonable and the choices are diverse enough to entice us back to sample more. Runaway Bay (Hollywell) is a lovely part of the Gold Coast, and this is a great spot to relax at along side of the water.
Arrived unannounced at 7.30pm, welcoming staff, good variety of food on offer, decent portions. A little hidden away however, worth it. Proud supporters of local sports and friendly staff. Desserts menu is also worthy of a look, dont fill up on mains.
Only had coffee on this occasion, but it is an attractive location which allows a lot of dreaming (which boat will I buy); the staff are friendly and you get a decent cup of coffee. The venue provides an excellent range of food and is licenced.

we alllways visit here regulary, gary and his awsome staff contiue to serve great food with fantastic service year round , the home made burgers are my favourite with a pint of beer , great atmosphere right on the marina . and allways enjoyable
The food is excellent especially roast night, staff are friendly and plenty of cold beer on tap. This place is a must go to, you will be really surprised when you walk in the door.
Stopped in for lunch. Food was good. Lots of it. The atmosphere was a little old fashioned. It was very dark on a bright sunny day.
The special breakfast which is only $6 is very yummy. The coffee could be a bit hotter but we all really enjoyed I time there.

came in for lunch had the steak special for lunch.steak was very chewy and not good.it was medium and still very chewy.
