Am Vormittag des fraglichen Sonntags klärte ich die Tischreservierung ab und kündigte an, dass wir um 15.00 Uhr eintreffen, einen Tisch für 11 Personen benötigen und dass die kleine Gruppe Kaffee/Tee und Kuchen wünscht. Die Klosterstube Heisterbach findet sich nahe der ehemaligen Zehntscheune im wirklich wunderschönen Landschaftsgarten des alten Klosters Heisterbach. Die Küche ist traditionell, aber sehr frisch und schmackhaft, der Service sehr freundlich und die Preisgestaltung sehr solide. Stil ist eher zurückhaltend, um der Wirkung der sehr beeindruckenden alten Gebäude keinen Abbruch zu tun. Man kann sich dort richtig wohlfühlen und gut auch einen halben Tag verbringen.

we stopped in the restaurant on the afternoon to have coffee and cake. we were served quickly and friendly, the selection of cake was quite good and delicious. What else could they ask for?
After visiting the petersberg and the walk through the forest we enjoyed a cup of coffee with a delicious piece of cake.
