It's time for this restaurant to get it together. I have been a customer here for many years. I called ahead to order two meat knishes and two carrot knishes. The person I spoke to said they had plenty of both, so I went to pick up my order within half an hour. When I arrived, the man at the counter told me they only had potato knishes on display, but there were meat knishes in the back. I didn't really want to leave a bad review on the internet. I tried calling to speak to the manager but the phone kept ringing unanswered. My husband picked up a few things on Sunday for me. I was excited because I miss having these Jewish delicacies. Thechopped liver was grainy and smelled odd. Threw it away. Don't you use onion in any of your foods? The gefilte fish was toosweet. It was hard and gelatinous. I'm sorry to say the knishes we're not good at all. The mushroom was 4 small mushroom piecesin what I think is mashed potatoes. No onions. This was our first visit, but definitely not our last! The service was excellent, the food was fantastic, and the challah was the best we've ever had!
