I am new in the area, decided to have an Indian meal. Googled the Kohinoor and looked at the review summary. Fantastic, I thought, with so many 5 stars and a minuscule 3,2,1 and 1 stars. this restaurant must be absolutely superb, maybe even Michelin level? So I decided to give it a try and went with an Indian colleague, so this is our review with reasoning. Ambience: 2/5 we were seated in the window, passersby could see everything we were eating, furthermore the tables were so close to each other that privacy was non existent. Wirklich gut gegessen und mich wohl gefühlt. Bis ich zuhause die Quittung nochmals kontrolliert habe. Mittlerweile normal, aber auch dumm von mir: man hält einfach die Karte hin, gibt den pinn ein und gut ist... Ab jetzt kontrolliere ich jeden Schritt genauer. Denn chf 35. an Trinkgeld will man eher nicht geben. So aber geschehen am Geburtstag meiner Mutter. Ein trübendes Erlebnis und ein lehrreiches. Ich frage mich zunehmend warum man im Service die Ortssprache nicht kann welche solche Missverständnisse fördern. Vielleicht sollte ich aber auch einfach wieder nur noch mit Bargeld bezahlen.
Sehr feines Essen mit gutem Ambiente. Das Naan war super und eine sehr gute Menge pro Portion. Wir waren zu einer sehr ruhigen Zeit da und trotzdem war der Service sehr schnell und motiviert freundlich :

Das Essen war sehr gut. Es war nicht zu viel nicht zu wenig und unser Kellner war sehr nett.
Authentisches und unfassbar leckeres Essen in Zug. Komme immer wieder gerne :
