i am SO GLAD i chose koibito for my prom dinner. the food was AMAZING and the service was, somehow, even better. our waitress complimented my girlfriend and i’s outfits and we told her we were going to prom. she came back with our waters in the coolest light up glasses and said, “special!” it’s so refreshing when people do sweet things out of the kindness of their hearts when they don’t have to at all AND ARE AT WORK! the staff also checked on us multiple times and the moment we needed the check, we got it. everyone here goes above and beyond and it’s so evident. we will definitely be coming back and i’d recommend this spot to anyone! (ps. the kiss of fire sushi roll was out of this world! ....
The sushi at Koibito Japanese is absolutely delicious and fresh. However, if you're placing an order over the phone or online, be sure to double-check the prices before finalizing your order. I ordered several rolls and confirmed the prices beforehand, but when I picked up my order, the total was significantly higher than I anticipated. I should have questioned the difference, but I opted to pay without arguing. Whether it was my mistake for not checking the menu thoroughly or if the prices change between lunch and dinner, I suggest learning from my experience and verifying the costs prior to ordering.
When we were sat, the waitress gave us our water and soy sauce dishes.. They were STICKY to the touch and visibly covered in grime and an orange substance?? DISGUSTING!! The waitress had them in her hand and there's no way she didn't feel how coated they were in grime. That makes me think that their standards are so low that this is normalized. We got up, handed the nasty dishes to the host and left. If they can't even wash a small soy sauce dish- I didn't want to risk food poisoning. Never coming back. My friend and I had a really lovely time at Koibito. The food was afternoon tea with a twist, we both really enjoyed it. The music and atmosphere was relaxing and all the staff were very polite, friendly and we will certainly be going back again. Lovely place.

Incredible experience! My mom loved it too. Thank you, Koibito, for your warm hospitality and delicious food. When it comes to sushi in town, my first choice is always Koibito, far better than Sushi Train. Plus, in my opinion, they serve the best tea! <3
We come here often. I love the spicy tuna handroll and the salmon teriyaki. My husband likes the unagi donburi and the generous servings of salmon sashimi. The only think we don’t like is the tempura. It was heavy and greasy. Very friendly service.
I absolutely adore Koibito. The food is fresh, flavorful, and genuinely authentic. The bento boxes are fantastic, and the sushi is particularly impressive.
Food was decent. Rolls came out fast. Was expecting donburi to be a little better, tasted like an overcooked omelet over rice.
