Beim Ankommen freundlich, ein Tischwechsel war kein Problen. Essen kam schnell. Das Servicepersonal zwar freundlich jedoch tw. nicht der deutschen Sprache mächtig und desinteressiert wie es schien. Abstatt Mayonnaise kam Kartoffelsalat mit Mayonnaise, ein Kinderschnitzel wurde als Hühnernuggets bezeichnet. Das Essen war sehr mittelmäßig, mein Avocadosalat weder optisch sehr ansehnlich noch vom Geschmack überzeugend. Der Blattsalat dabei lag sicher schon länger in der Marinade, war dementsprechend vollgesogen. Auch die Aufmachung der restlichen Speisen wirkte lieblos. We were here on a tour with an American football team and had our team celebration dinner in the biergarten. They have the Czech Budweiser on tap as well as some Paulaner Weissbier. We ate family style. They brought out trays of meat and potatoes with a huge schweinhaxe, chicken breasts, ribs, and sausages. As you can imagine with a bunch of football players, it went pretty fast. The boys loved the food and the beer. The restaurant is located just inside the Prater Amusement Park and has a large indoor area as well as a covered biergarten. They served all 110 of us pretty efficiently. We were at this quite comfy looking restaurant with a big group of friend celebrating a birthday. The food and drinks were very pricey but tasty. Nothing to claim at this end. Unfortunately the waiter was very unfriendly, in my personal opinion unprofessional, he overcharged us with more than 100 EUR (!) and couldn't give us a proper bill when we asked for it. Shame on the management allowing such behavior. Clearly I don't recommend this place. Directly next house is Schweizerhaus, much better managed restaurant even though from the same family. If u are looking for a great Italian then couple of minutes walking distance you have l'osteria opposite from the entrance.

Waren bereits ein paar Mal in der Luftburg essen und es war immer ganz ok. So wollten wir auch einen Geburtstag mit 15 Personen dort feiern, jedoch war der Service an diesem Abend leider sehr mies. Es wurden ständig Bestellungen vergessen und die Kellner waren recht unfreundlich. Dabei war das Lokal halb leer, da es an diesem Tag recht kühl war. Man hatte ständig das Gefühl, dass man schnellstmöglich wieder gehen soll, da man das Lokal früher schließen wollte mangels Umsatz. Uns sieht das Lokal bestimmt nicht mehr, da gibt es in der Umgebung Prater genug andere Biergärten, die weitaus besser sind.

We wanted to go to dinner, but we left very quickly. there was not staff to sit us at the table, we were waiting for almost five minutes for someone !!! So we went for ourselves to look for the table, after a while the waitress on us arrogantly what we do, so I asked her if there is a private action another arrogant act that not and that will find us some places. Never again this place...
If you want to eat something tipical of Austria you can eat here. The food was well cooked, the staff really really nice and polite and the service was excellent. You will not say "oh wow the food is unbelievable" but I think this is not their goal. We had a really nice lunch in a quiet place and the price is good. Try it.
Das Essen in der Luftburg ist sehr ausgezeichnet, ich habe eine Stelze und als Dessert einen Bananensplit gegessen. Ich habe nicht sehr lange auf auf mein Essen gewartet und das Personal war auch sehr freundlich. Das war nicht mein erster und auch nicht mein letzter Aufenthalt in der Luftburg.

Eigentlich sind wir immer gern hier gewesen gute Küche und Kinder können spielen. Jetzt essen schlecht (Käse nockerl unterirdisch), schlechte Bedienung. Bis zum Schluss stand das schmutzige Geschirr auf dem Tisch und wurde nicht abgeräumt. Nur noch teuer! Schade.
