In case of reservations for special occasions (Christmas, Easter, Pentecost etc., you should first check whether an a la carte order is possible or whether only menus are offered. Secret tip! One of the best restaurants in Altenburg. You have to take some time, because good thing needs a while! We were very often in the Kollers and the food was always top class. The service is friendly, the card is not overloaded and some of the dishes are seasonal. Here traditional cuisine with modern elements is brought creatively to the table. Prices are reasonable, for that the portions are very large. Of course, senior plates are also available. Sometimes even a greeting comes from the kitchen. When we were in the Kollers with a larger group, we had agreed the dishes before. So there were no problems eating together. Conclusion: Let yourself be convinced!
I took a seat today just before 7:00. I was told that there is nothing more to eat (see opening hours). You'd be ready for a lentil soup. Five minutes later, the main courses are served at the side table. All right And unfortunately very bad. Also for my hunger. I find the ambience in itself simple, but very homely. Almost like a living room (also with a fireplace).
