Bought cake there, then wanted to have some coffee and cake there. The place is small, a bakery/cafe. The waiter, a younger shorter man, showed me how incredibly rude service can be. I asked him if we could have coffee there, he shouted at me no! can 't you read? Look it 's written in German here! in an arrogant and condescending tone and shows me a sign on the floor that says that you can 't eat the food there you buy there. I ask if we could buy some coffee, he said No! , not wanting to service us because we were supposedly so annoying to him for having asked. The tone and insane rudeness blew my mind. Do not go, not worth it. Spend you hard earned money elsewhere.
like other reviewers, we have especially looked at the caffe kreutzkamm after we had seen how paul hollywood visited it and learned something about the cake. the prince regent torte, as it is shown on television, is a beautiful looking cake that tastes a little dry for British tastes at first bite, but then you get used to it and it's great! my man had the juicy places of pun that was not dry at all (!!!!) and our friend had the cheese cake that was very delicious. a beautiful place for a quiet stop during a Christmas market break!
to be in a bite and not to taste a tree cake would be a pity. this dessert is traditionally from Germany and its kind of preparation and presentation differs very much from all the others I have tried. this cake is produced in layers and not vertically cut, but horizontally cut. whether traditional or schokoladig, they will definitely like it. for this they can order a coffee or if they prefer a rich chocolate that is delicious. they give a topping like a whipped cream that gives it more body and a more complete taste.
the cafe crawling comb was once one of the best cafes - famous for its tee pastry, the tree cake and the stollen. Previously there were supernette operation and also great tortes. today we had herrentorte and lemon cake - dry, several days old. there are clearly better footsteps. pity, but this is also the explanation why the cafe is so small shrinkage.

don’t be fooled by the nice looking bakery. the service is horrible. if you don’t say upfront that you want to sot inside, you will get your order “to go”, but that’s not written anywhere. be careful, you can’t change your order to “sit in” once you pay, because the process are higher!
Of course not the large Kreuzkamm I loved but less Schicke Miki than Luitpold Cafe and more pleasant staff than Theatiner Café in the court. Cakes were very good although the Nussbeugerl is better in Münchener Freiheit. Still I love Kreutzkamm.
Really nice cakes and breakfast items and was very busy so obviously has a good reputation. However, the staff weren’t at all friendly I’d go as far to say they were pretty rude. Such a shame as good lovely.
who likes sweetness is here at one of the first addresses of Munich.The dresdner christstollen is exquisite and of course especially recommended for this season.
