THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!!!!! We knew we left the tourist area since this place does not have their menu translated to English but we had a wonderful waitress who tried her best to understand us. She was extremely patient and very kind with a lovely demeanor and a contagious laughter. We had a group of 8 and waited a reasonable amount of time for our food and when it came… man oh man. I had the house special which was beef cubes with a garic bitter, salad and fries and the meat was super tender and perfectly cooked. My parents had Chicken Cordon Bleu which was really good too. So I would 1,000% recommend this place as a must-eat
This was probably the best meal we had in all of Switzerland. The meat was juicy and tender and the price is just right. This is not really a tourist restaurant. Looks like mostly locals go here and it shows. The menu is in German and we needed Google translate to understand it. The waitress spoke little English but was friendly and took her time explaining some things on the menu. But would definitely recommend anyone to eat here. Would definitely come back.
Good home-style food and great served with wonderful taste and above all extraordinary service and customer focus. Cheers! Old and young are welcomed in a very professional and friendly manner and a lovely tavern atmosphere is created in which you feel very comfortable as a (non-local) guest. Excellent cordon bleu, great freshly prepared vegetables, beef fillet at its finest!!!
The Kaiser family does an absolute top job at the Kreuz Restaurant! I've been there several times at lunchtime and the service is very courteous and familiar, as is of course the food at a top level. The Kreuz Restaurant particularly shines with its excellent game dishes and delicious smoker offerings at certain times. See you next time!
