well located right at the center of the gondelbahn. it was too full on the pilatus and the restaurant at fräkmüntegg did not laugh so much so that we chose the restaurant krienseregg on the basis of the description here. very friendly and attentive service. the food was fine (scarved with pommes) and a beautiful salad. price absolutely in the frame for a mountain beiz. we would like to visit again when we walk in this area.
I discovered the krienseregg with my daughter: among other things there is a super and modern playground where she can play around for colleges. the place is also very suitable for family picnic. with good snow conditions in winter it is possible to sneak down to kriens.
the krienseregg is a stop in the cable car to the mont pilatus of kriens. there is a beautiful playground and a large restaurant with view. we enjoyed a coffee and were very nice croissants offered at a low price. also beautiful. hiking trails in the neighbourhood.

the huge playground, the barbecue facilities and the small hiking trail offer a perfect destination for families with smaller children. the krienseregg is easy to reach by cable car or in an approximately one hour walk from kriens.
Ate lunch here one afternoon on the way down from the mountain. Waitress was very friendly and kind. food was excellent. There was 6 of us and we all enjoyed our lunch there. I would eat here again.
We drove up the Krienseregg most of the way, about ten minutes walk down. The playground is small but nice for younger kids. Bring along some food to put on one of the bbq's and enjoy the clean air.
