Very disappointed, the presentation of this food is very misleading and the salad is nothing as shown in the picture. It should come with dressing cucumber and avocado and all it came with was lettuce. When we got there we were also told they ran out of one of the rolls so it was replaced with something we didn't necessarily want. Lastly, it was promised to be ready between 5:00 pm and 5:15 pm and wasn't ready till 5:35 pm. It would be one thing if they were nice, accommodating and apologetic but that was not the case! The customer service was as bad if not worse than the food we received.
We just ordered the $110 worth of sushi that should have costed $50. The sushis, crispy rices and hand rolls are as small as your pinky. The box and the presentation looks great but the quality and portion is absolutely appalling. I mean if you're trying to copy cat sugar fish might as well do it right. We will not be ordering from this place in the future unless they make drastic changes to address quality and portion.
I ordered from this restaurant on Uber Eats and I'm really disappointed that I didn't check Yelp reviews beforehand. The quality of the food was terrible, and the portion sizes didn't justify the cost. Even the edamame was poorly prepared—how do you mess up something so simple? Overall, it felt like a complete waste of money and calories.
The worst sushi experience I have ever had in my life! I paid over 100$ for my order and it was just terrible. Nothing was tasty. Rice was just THE WORST. I am just shocked. The rice was rock hard, and the sashimi tasted like scraps of fish. Is there an option to give zero stars? Absolutely disgusting! I usually avoid leaving negative reviews, but this restaurant truly deserves it, and it seems I'm not alone in my experience.
The worst sushi I ever had without a doubt. No way is it the same sushi as the krispy rice in Santa Monica or Beverly Hills. They must go the cheap route on the fish for Costa Mesa. It was gross
Way over priced for the product they serve. Everything was miniature sized and the crispy rice was anything but crispy! That was actually the worst part of our order.
The branding is appealing, but I suspect it's a scam. The rice was overcooked and tough, and the fish tasted like something you'd find at a discount store.
