I've been shopping at this Kroger since April 2021 and have been a loyal customer since 1997. When I reached the checkout, both the manager and a security guard tried to restrain me without any provocation. I resisted, and when I was told I could leave, the security guard forcibly pushed me to the ground. I hit my head on the tile floor but managed to get up and leave the store. It was such a bizarre situation, yet unfortunately, not uncommon in minority communities.
All I did was ask someone to back up during a pandemic, and I felt completely attacked. As I was leaving, I grabbed a Gatorade. Little do they know, I’m a black biochemist who worked on Gatorade ingredient technology at PepsiCo...
Out of all the Krogers in Atlanta, this one is my absolute favorite. It offers almost everything you could possibly need, featuring a vast selection of fresh produce and ready-to-eat meals, as well as fresh meats, seafood, flowers, an extensive wine collection, a full-service pharmacy, and just about anything else you can think of. However, the standout aspect of any store is its staff, and I have consistently found them to be incredibly friendly. This is especially true for their new General Manager, James Whitten—I've never met a nicer or more considerate person.
I just moved to Brookhaven and I believe I've found my go-to grocery store. They have a wide selection of fresh produce, a spacious bakery section, and plenty of checkout lanes. I'm also really fond of the staff here. One team member, Melanie, was especially helpful; after I accidentally locked my keys in the car, she offered to put my grocery cart in the walk-in fridge when she saw me back inside the store. Her kindness really relieved a lot of my stress while waiting for the service van.
I pick up my medications at this pharmacy, and the staff is incredibly nice. I moved from Los Angeles to Atlanta at the beginning of January this year, and finding new doctors, grocery stores, and pharmacists has been quite challenging. However, discovering a pharmacy where everyone is so kind and helpful feels like a blessing. I truly appreciate their support and assistance.

Kroger at 3871 Peachtree Rd NE to me is a place that I feel very comfortable, employees don't mess with u while u shopping, the experience is very wonderful, I don't feel like no one going to bother me, because of the security cameras is all over the place, and like they said on their commercial low, low , low with there prices the restroom was very clean comfortable to use
I love this location. The parking lot is easy to get in and out of, its clean and they always keep the shelves fully stocked. I live in chamblee but drive out of my way for this kroger.
Kroger is a fantastic place for groceries and home decor items. I recently bought this beautiful plant pot there. It’s a great shopping destination for groceries and much more.
Great customer service and polite. Whose neighbor Starr , could have been more helpful. Thanks for picking up the dropped ball Kroger. Happy NYE
