My husband and I dined here for his birthday back in March. We were both surprised at how small the two 4 oz blackened steaks were for $34. The $23 pan cooked chicken breast was a bit dry and served with the skin and fat still intact. It was an incredible inconvenience and gross mess. I mentioned this to the waitress was it supposed to be served like this? All she said was she didn’t know and do I want her to check for me? When she came back she said that is how they serve it. I shouldn’t have had to take the skin and fat off of chicken as a patron in this restaurant. It's completely unreasonable to expect a customer to prepare their own food in a restaurant. Having to remove skin and fat fr...

First time visit from GA. I like trying fried green tomatoes whenever I get the chance. We ordered Michigan Summertime selections, appetizers, and French onion soup. Nice ample slices of tomatoes with perfectly cooked shrimp. I was looking forward to the creamy sauce described, except no sauce; lots of butter. Not what I anticipated, still flavorful. We appreciated the manager being accommodating about it. Barbara, our server is friendly and attentive and not intrusive. She works every summer, so she knows her stuff. The large portions are shareable. Everyone enjoyed the calamari. The drinks were thirst quenching compliments to our meals. Our leftovers did well in the air fryer the next day....

Hard to rate. The food is great but last time I got the fish, I was vomiting the next day. Has only happened once. The waiter we had (Scott I believe) was very attentive and polite. The rest of the wait staff was incredibly loud. To the point where we had to shout across the table to continue our conversation. Managers didn't really seem to care or quiet them down. The atmosphere was fine dining, and the bill reflected that, but the staff was better suited for a coney island. Aside from the one instance of food poisoning, the last few meals were very good. The stuffed chicken was great, the tortellini was good, and the steak was excellent. Again, I find it hard to rate because I've had insta...

What a delicious late lunch/early dinner. It had been years since eating at Kruse Muer they did not disappoint! We enjoyed the Gazpacho Charlie’s chowder Oyster Rockefeller. For dinner we had the blackened Salmon and Seafood Panroast (so yum) !! Our server Savannah was FANTASTIC !! She checked on us many times, she answered questions from us if anything was amiss she did her best to resolve. It was a bit loud in the restaurant from the patrons. It may not be the place for serious conversations. But if you are looking for serious flavors, food service YES ? It was worth the 50 min drive there. ??. Thanks. Book a table now

No reservations required. I just happened to stop by to try it out. The service was excellent, and I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices, especially considering the restaurant's reputation for being a bit upscale. The fruity cobbler was extremely sweet and delicious. The Maurice salad was ample enough to serve two people. I had the lobster and shrimp rice dish, which was good—though not a large portion, it was satisfying. The bread was to die for! In fact, the salad and bread combo was quite filling. The atmosphere was lively, making it a great spot for a date night. Pictures below!

The food was really good and they were very accommodating to our large party of over 20 people for a company promotion meeting. The oysters were cold but I think it was bc they had one server for us which I understood they still needed the other waitresses to staff the other side of the restaurant. Justice was really good! She did all she could! I hadn’t been a few years but the food is always great, especially their house bread! Their pizza is one of the best things on their menu surprisingly. That jerk chicken pizza is unmatched! Now I want to grab that as a carryout this week. Lol

Ask the bartender for a water didn't get one had to ask him one more time didn't get one The third time I asked didn't get one so I asked the lady for one and she had it. Was not happy I don't know if He had something else on his mind and wasn't listening. But overall my first time in love the placemats with all the different restaurants that used to be around.

I can only assume that most positive reviews here are fake/paid for. The food is overpriced and not good. Easily $30-40 per person with small portions. Read the other reviews that have comments before choosing to dine here. Book a table now

I had a delightful meal. For parking, it's best to use the north side, as it's closer to the entrance.
