If you are looking for the best Cuban restaurant in the Tampa Bay area look no further. Upon stepping inside the sheer aroma of garlic and butter will have your mouth watering before you can even look at the menu. Whether you are looking for a bowl, a salad, or an enormous cuban sandwich they have you covered. Don't forget to try their signature sangrias too! They also do a Sunday Brunch like no other. Each Sunday a menu is specially crafted to entice each and every one of your tastebuds.
I was a little disappointed to see so many 5? reviews I had expected great. the Cuba sandwich was in order, but nothing great, the Yucca frits were also in order, but seemed oily as if the attempt of the fry oil was not hot enough, the take was the sweet plantains. beautiful size, sweet juicy, but the best was her mango limonade. it was, imo, exquisite! I'm not sure I'm returning because there are still a few other Cuban restaurants that I enjoy more.
we came for the barria tacos on Friday, but have to come back on taco Tuesday! while we ate the Cuban with black and rice as well as the chichurrons. stall down! try the “Fire water” with them, they will not regret it if they like to kill their taste horses! Guava-Drink was in front of location! awesome owners and all around great venue to not mention the amazing food, again! will faithful customers be on this wise?
everything is amazing! I went with my family and we tried the Cuban, the el ultimo with huh, the lobster empanada and the burger and wow. large portions and so delicious. the Hekka frits and diving sauce were addicted. the owner/cook is wonderful and the outside seats are great. highly recommended!
