The empanadas were ok, good seasoning on the meat and crispy dough. Shredded beef and addition of a sauce would be a game changer. The Ropa Vieja was on point. The rice was simple but fravorful and buttery. The Paella Valenciana had a Cuban twist with the glandules. I would not miss the asparagus. The clams and mussels were grainy quite a bit of sand. Overall ok but too much going on with the vegetable mixture. A good and unique freshly squeezed lemonade.
This place has great food for great prices. The sandwiches are always good, especially the Cu Bánh Mí. Topped with their signature hot sauce and a side of fried plantains, there's no better sandwich in Richmond. I also don't usually get dessert at restaurants, but I always make sure to splurge for a slice of Tres Leche. It's just that good
We got the kubanaso, yucca fries and pork lunch special. It was all tasty, but the pork was a bit dry. I highly recommend the yucca fries, which are topped with fresh garlic, parsley and lemon...really out of this world! Service was good, and the place was super cozy with cool eclectic decor.
Great food, atmosphere, and service!!! Every time I am in the area, I stop by for a cuban sandwich.
