First the important stuff. It's closed Monday and Tuesday and you will need to book in advance. But it's worth it because it's one of the better restaurants in Ramsau. The soups were excellent. Main courses ( schnitzel and goulash) slightly disappointing. The service makes up for it - and it's certainly has atmosphere.
We came on recommendation from our guesthouse and we're not disappointed. The owners and staff are all absolute sweethearts, the food is good and generously served. The decor of the old room is so gorgeous and quaint. Would recommend and come back. Always busy until 7.30pm so if you have not booked come at 8pm.
We stayed there for a few days around new years eve. Nice and cozy rooms, good facilities, very well equipped hotel bar and a very good restaurant. We missed shower gel and a hairdryer in the bath. Very helpful staff! We will definitely visit again and I can fully recommend the Kulmwirt.
We visited this place by coincidence as some other restaurants have been closed, but it was great coincidence. Very nice and helpful staff, delicious food and overall - nice atmosphere.
