Eating at this restaurant is an experience that goes beyond just the food. The overall rating for this place is not a 4.8. The food is good, with a variety of proteins offered, possibly more than other poke bars. However, they have fewer side options compared to other places. The service is lacking, as the staff, particularly the females, are not friendly, even when informed that you are a newcomer. The poke is tasty, but there are better options available in the San Jose area. The garlic chicken was average, and the prices are on the higher side for the portion size.
Poke is one of my favorite foods and I was lol recommended to try out Aloha Fresh in Japan town by Downtown San Jose. The fish they offer comes in directly from Hawaii every couple of days so it’s always fresh, hence the name. I really enjoy the flavors of the poke and fresh ingredients. They have a wide selection of poke and sides to choose from and everything looked so yummy. I swore that Santo Market was the best poke, but Aloha Fresh makes me question myself. They are owned by a Hawaiian staff and serve top quality poke. The best part is that they try to stay as traditional as possible while still appealing to people who haven't had real Hawaiian poke. I find myself going there at least once a week and always get the Poke Lover with Hawaiian Ahi, Spicy Ahi, crab salad, and ocean salad. This might be the best poke spot outside of Hawaii
This is the place to go for legit Hawaii poké. I got fresh Hawaiian ahi and sesame tako , with sides of lomi salmon and cucumber namasu. Delicious! Just like the kind they have on the big island! All that is missing is the smell of the ocean and sand in your slippers. It’s marinated poké, not like the cheap places that pour the sauce on after you order. Highly recommended. Aloha and mahalo.

Had an order of the two scoop of protein and two scoops of sides. And l Also ordered some Spam Musubi. The poke I had tasted fresh. I ordered half greens with half rice, topped with spicy scallop, spicy ahi, crab and seaweed salad. Everything was very filing. One extra star to the beautiful and kind person who took our order! She was very nice and sweet!
Love love love this place. High quality ingredients that you can taste, everything is always super fresh. We always get the poke lover bowl. My favorites are the kukuinut salmon and the kukuinut ahi paired with ocean salad and namasu!! Parking can be a bit tricky.
I ordered the ramen with veggies and tofu, in a vegetarian broth without eggs. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. I dined alone and sat at the bar. However, larger groups had to wait 45 minutes to be seated.
This poke shop is fantastic! You can expect high-quality, delicious poke here. They also offer buttered mochi and musubi if you're in the mood for some. Everything is fresh and I absolutely love it.

I was excited to try the ramen here, but was disappointed to find that the only options available were rice and edamame. Additionally, the only noodles they serve are made with egg.
The best Hawaiian poke in town IMO. Very fresh fish. Their scallop is very fresh. Always remember to take the imitation crab as one of the sides.
