Biggest pieces of tofu in miso soup! This is a fun revolving sushi belt restaurant. The servers are nice and helpful. Their Salmon skin was crispy delicious with shishito peppers! I hope they improve on the cleanliness part specifically the small opening for plate dispensers on the tables. Plate dispenser openings need more rinsing or wiping by the server team when seating new guests. Also they might want to consider a Yelp waitlist. Their wait time is 180-270 minutes. It'll be easier for guests to join via Yelp waitlist and see their wait times. I hope they can start a 2hour time limit for guests dining since they only have about 10 tables for table seating. This is by far my favorite sushi spot. It is affordable and the staff is ALWAYS super friendly. It's definitely a spot that gets very busy. Literally every day. My sister and I have a favorite girl who is Martha she is so sweet and attentive. Since we come here all the time she already knows our orders, even when we do not dine in and just order for pick up. since this place is so busy, it is hard to expect perfection even when sitting at the bar, you can see the chefs working as fast as they can. overall, even with the new app and system, I still enjoy my sushi here and the staff is great. ambience is great.
This is a really fun place to visit and the sushi is very delicious. However, my biggest complaint is with the waitlist system that they have. Kura does have an app to enlist yourself on their waitlist, but it's not reliable at all. If you're using the waitlist, add another 30-45 minutes to that time. The restaurant is cute and I love the promotions it has but it's very small and the employees just give the tables a quick sloppy wipe down (which is understandable because of the long waits, but still). Overall, I would say avoid the weekend crowds and come on a weekday instead if possible.
We come here often, and we always have a great time. The conveyor belt style is fun, and you can order items freshly made via the iPad at each table. The staff are great, very friendly. And there's always enough parking. Wait times are usually long, because it's so popular, so be sure to arrive early
