As our favourite Indian takeaway had recently closed down I thought I would give kushboo ago for take away. making an order online was very easy and paid by card which is always a bonus. I was disappointed that when my egg fried rice arrived there was more onion spinach and carrot in there than egg and also no mention on the online menu that the rice contained this. (I was expecting egg and rice, the same I have ordered from other Indian takeaways) I found my curry very bland and sauce way very bitty and not a smooth curry sauce. When trying to ring the Resturant to let them know about the rice not being more than just rice and egg I couldn’t get through. I don’t think I will be ordering an...
Nice setting to have a meal but left disappointed, seems like they have a method to scam people into buying more. First they take you upstairs for a predrink before being seated, they keep you there to finish your drink so you have to buy more drinks, once seated and ordered, food took over an hour to arrive, which makes me think they do it so you finish your drink again before meal arrives. Place is expensive at it is, the time it took for us to eat by the time we arrived was far too long. we was sat left waiting for food and hungry.
Unfortunately disappointed again, we ordered and collected from here a year or two ago and felt let down, and ordered again tonight and was let down again. I ordered the paneer tikka salad starter which was just cubes of pan fried paneer with no flavouring (so fried paneer salad, not TIKKA paneer). The Tarka Dahl had a bitter flavour and wasn't great either, it was definitely lacking in flavour. The naan was also disappointingly small. The onion bahjes and pilau rice were delicious, as was the vegan sabji tarkari, I'd recommend those.
Wonderful service by all, very smiley team, nothing was too much to ask. Food was amazing and the complimetaries we're very well received. Thank you Kishboo! We will be back
