About five minutes later, the server approached and asked what toppings we wanted for the misua soup. This raised a red flag; she should have asked this when we placed our order. I also asked her to refill our water, but instead, she just left the pitcher on the table—another red flag. Throughout the experience, I inquired if there was new management, and the server confirmed that there was, mentioning that they had been in business for over a year. As we approached 8:00 PM, I noticed what seemed to be the owner walk into the kitchen (we were seated right next to it) and express concern about why we still hadn’t received our food. The chef responded in Tagalog, saying they didn't have the n...

I ordered through Grubhub because I'm pregnant and just didn't feel up to cooking today. I paid $17 for half a container of Pork Sisig and $16 for Kaldereta, which had only four pieces of meat. To top it off, it arrived without any rice. I called the restaurant to ask if they had forgotten the rice and was told it didn't come with the dish. I was so surprised! I've never encountered that before. The app didn't prompt me to add rice or inform me that it wasn't included. I mean, isn’t it standard for Chinese food to come with rice? Or for Mexican food to come with rice and beans? Even Jollibee includes rice! I just don't understand this at all. I definitely won’t be ordering from here again.

I can't speak highly enough about this restaurant! It deserves an 11 out of 10 for its traditional Filipino food, drinks, appetizers, desserts, staff, ambiance, and even the live piano music! My brothers and sisters often dine here, and the owners treat you like family. I would definitely recommend it for special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, and retirements. I'm also incredibly grateful to the management for allowing me to play the piano there! If you're looking for a go-to Filipino restaurant, you can't go wrong with Kusina De MANILA. Always a great experience!

We will definitely return with our friends and family. The owner is genuinely nice and very entertaining. Thanks, Winston, for the amazing magic you performed for us; we had a great time! We highly recommend this place—not just for the food, but also for the wonderful atmosphere. It’s very welcoming, clean, and I absolutely loved the beautiful artwork on the walls. I can’t forget to mention the staff—they provided fantastic service and were incredibly fast! Book a table now

I’ve been waiting for over an hour for our food, and so far, we've only received two out of the four dishes we ordered for a party of four. The service has been disappointing, making this experience feel like a waste of both time and money. After being seated, we had to ask for water after about 15-20 minutes. I’ve never encountered such poor service in the entire Chicago area. This restaurant really shouldn't be in business. Service: Dine-in.

We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. The service is excellent and quick, and the authentic Filipino food is absolutely delicious, complemented by a wonderful ambiance. The entertainment adds to the experience as well. Sir Winston, the owner, is incredibly hospitable, engaging, and genuinely down-to-earth. Thank you for an unforgettable experience! We look forward to coming back soon!

I've dined in at this restaurant a few times and have ordered from them many more. The service is outstanding every time; they're very attentive. My food always arrives fresh, and the flavors remind me of home. They are quite generous with their portions; usually, I can finish a lumpia in two bites, but here it takes me three. Their portions are larger than at most places. Food: 5/5.

Excellent food and top-notch service! My daughter, who usually isn't a fan of Filipino cuisine, absolutely loved the kaldereta. Winston was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and funny, with plenty of surprises to share. This was our first visit, and we can't wait to return and recommend it to others. Congratulations to the owners! Book a table now
