In the days before smartphones, one needed to visit a restaurant to find out if they were any good at all. One would then have a proper conversation over the (hopefully) enjoyable meal and company. We neednt any devices to know about kyushu as it was 1 of our go-to more than a decade ago along with koh-ya (moved to randwick) n kintaro (now closed). It was pretty much like meeting a good friend whom you havent met in ages and found that you simply picked up where you left off and it gave you a warm fuzzy feeling inside. <br/ <br/ They dont do anything spectacular except serving simple trad jap food w good qual ingredients and not taking shortcuts in prep. Comforting to see menu has not change...
