This is possibly the worst experience I ever had in a restaurant. My 3 friends and us went to eat something for lunch and found this place in Villefranche. We sat at the table. When the waitress came for our order I kindly asked if a specific dish was vegan (essentially pasta and a sauce with chopped olives). Just to be sure you know. The waitress huffed in annoyance saying she could not guarantee the dish was vegan. We just want to be sure that there is no egg or dairy in the dish. It is a restaurant right? They should know what ingredients they use. I believe she was very annoyed by us asking those questions, even though I asked very kindly, and before going away in an additional huff, she...

Restaurant was in a lovely spot overlooking the harbour. We arrived mid morning and it wasn’t especially busy. We sat down, and acknowledged the waiter however they didn’t come to our table and serve us... They served a couple on the next table and another couple arrived after us and were served almost straight away. After this we decided to leave which was a shame. Not sure if there was miscommunication somewhere or if you were meant to order at the bar but seemed odd.

amazingly good food, made even more remarkable by the size of the tiny kitchen...not much bigger than the average burger van you see parked up outside a football ground. Friendly and accomodating. Literally. I arrived late into lunch when it was full but seeing I was on my own, they managed to find a table and a space to put it up. Marvellous.

Lovely spot overlooking the harbour. Tiny place but ideal situation. The sun was shining as we enjoyed Nicose with fresh tuna and a goats cheese salad with a lovely bottle of Rose. Reasonably priced and waitress very welcoming
