After extensively researching online for the best curry in Stuttgart, I decided to check out La Bamboo. I must admit I was surprised at the extremely high ratings that it received I live in the UK and so am accustomed to very high quality...curries. I would rate this restaurant as average only for the following reasons: The starters were simply not Sri LankanIndian; they were just reheated deepfried frozen snack foods. The popadoms were very good, but came with Thai Sweet Chilli sauce I asked for at least mango chutney which was on the menu elsewhere but it was a flatout no. Me and my friends went in this place to have lunch today, attracted by the positive reviews on tripadvisor: this place really satisfied our expectations! First of all the location is really cozy, and the waiter kind and nice. About the food we've chosen three...dishes one with vegetables, one with fish and one with meat and we share them. Everything was really good, but the curry beef was absolutely excellent! We also tried the exotic drinks and we strongly advice them.
