A review based on three dishes is necessarily suspect, but, it is what it is. A leg up for being right across the street from the Mercure Hotel. Also, the clean modern interior is a plus. A fresh green salad was a good first start...to our meal. My lamb tangine was a big winner. Just the right seasoning, almonds,raisins and potatoes complimented the generous portion of tender tasty lamb. While my wife also liked the taste of her chicken tangine, she was critical of the chicken portion. It was a leg, small part of a thigh and a good part of a bony back. The service was polite and professional. The price was reasonable.
A short but interesting menu of North African/Moroccan dishes including tagine, couscous, brick etc. Good value 3 course formula of starter, main and dessert for just under Euro 20 per person (in June 2015). Very well prepared and tasty the lamb was cooked perfectly... and the quantities generous to put it mildly. It was a quiet early evening in mid week when we visited and so the atmosphere was a little lacking, but the quality of the cooking made up for it. Friendly and efficient service too.
this family-run restaurant was great. the service was excellent and the food was good. we are here mid-week after arrival late afternoon. can't fail. we felt bad because we left food behind, but clearly ordered too much. the cousin and the tagine were excellent....Make me back to morroco. Don't let you fool yourself out. the house was clean and we had a really good meal with great service. the menu had the right amount of options and u could say it was all fresh. do not hesitate.

we have eaten twice in la baraka. both male was the eating excellent (couscous, tajines). both were well dressed and the smolina was light and fluffy. the owner was friendly and knowledgeable about eating on the menu. We had delicious, fun and relaxing dinners. an la baraka and plan back when we are
we both had a cousin and it was wonderful. the sweet and the sauce were very rich and full of taste of the various flavors used in the kitchen, and the tamn and merguez added the sauce and the sweet. we had rarely. a good cousin who tries to get in beziers or around.
we came with a baby and her stroller and were well received. Tajinas were excellent, as were the eastern pastry. the boss showed himself pleasant and warm and, cherry on the cake, offered us pastries when we left.

the restaurang was more than full in this Saturday night, so we were glad that we had reserved one table. the dishes were beautiful and authentic and the service personally. I'd like to come back.
La Baraka is just opposite the Mercure Hotel so pretty convenient for an evening meal. The restaurant was fairly quiet when we attended but the service and food were really good.
