the very good food, it got us, but we didn't get the attitude of the waiter, so I put 3 stars. At first I got confused about how the menu worked, because there were two incomings, not just one, and the waiter was already upset, because I had to explain it to us. Then I asked him literally two simple questions of what the dishes were wearing and he got even more upset and he was very impatient. I felt uncomfortable and I didn't ask her anything else. for me is the most normal thing in the world that customers want to know what they're going to eat. There are vegetarian or allergic people, or just someone gets their ham but squid croquettes no longer. and if the menu puts croquettes it's norma...
my man and I went 3 times during our weeks visit to santa pola. the menu del dia was very valuable, we had a huge common starter to share a pizza and a selection at desserts. it was really nice. Drinks are cheap. service is great. the atmosphere is good and a walk along the promenade after dinner ends the night perfectly
last year we have eaten the 12 Euro lunch several times: eating is fresh and very valuable, especially the chocolate brew. but 2 out of 6 visit the owner has charged us extra 6 euro on the menu as we have the whole bottle wein between two drunken) asoppossed to a small glass 4 others visits no such occasion.
the menu del dia is a good value for money. the food is fresh, well cooked and is presented attraktiw. the service is warm and friendly. vegetarian options were offered without fuss!
