We have visited this bar so often over the years and loved it. The ambiance and the welcome made together with the view a winner. We visited in May and found the owner Danny to be a changed man. No longer warm and welcoming but curt and inhospitable. We thought the difficulties of the past couple of years might have been the cause so gave him the benefit of the doubt and came back with again this afternoon. Sadly we were over charged for drinks that we hadn’t ordered and when we questioned it we were met with an aggressive outburst. Can’t recommend this place anymore and no coming back for us!
Hostelería honesta y amable (no babosa) en un territorio en el que cuesta encontrarla. Si la mesa está reservada o el local no te puede atender, te lo dicen. ¿O es mejor que te dejen sentarte y te dejen esperando a la momificación? ¿O que te manden levantar porque vienen los que sí avisaron? We always visit La Barra when we are in San Pedro. And we have never been disappointed yet. The atmosphere is always great and the view is just outstanding. Always love the food but it is the people and the service that makes it so special. Highly recommended

We arrived at 2.30 and yes some tables were reserved so we found one that wasn't. They guy then came along with a reserved sign and ordered us to move to a different table. We felt unwelcome so we left.
Excellent experience at this restaurant today. Lovely food, fair prices, and excellent service from Daniel who was especially attentive to our 10 month old daughter. Highly recommended we'll be back!
very good treatment, special attention with the doggies, there is nothing else to see the photo with snack for him too. and the smoothies ... delious !!!
Awful waiter 4 spare tables, no reservation tablets on these tables. Refused us to sit, even when we said we needed to watch a kid playing on the beach.
