We were recommended this restaurant by the hotel owner in Santillana. It is very local and you may have to share a table with others. It has paper table cloths and bench seats. The atmosphere is fantastic with lots of local chatter. The owner was really hospitable giving us free beer to start off the meal. The food is mainly fish of all different sorts. Not too expensive. A great find.
It's one of those very small places that have lots of locals outside eating and drinking and make you wonder why. The reason is simple: it's cheap and the food is excellent. It even appeared on a Spanish national TV programe on Spanish tapas in Cantabria. Try it and you won't feel a foreigner!
Busy, bustly, friendly and not a fancy place but you would be hard pressed to get even close to the quality of the seafood an fish at a place cahrging twice the price. Great family feel to the place and well worth booking as folks were lining up for a table all evening if not.
