La Bonne Etoile - Table reservation

Staying in Roscoff we, a mature couple, decided to give this restaurant a try. We were certainly not dissapointed. Everything was first class from our greeting on arrival to the cheery goodbye on our departure. The service was really good as was the food. I had the merlu (hake) and my partner chose brochettes of prawns. We both thoroughly enjoyed these mains. For desert we both chose tart aux pommels that was delicious although we both thought that there was a little too much chantilly. I recognise that some diners would appreciate it more that us. I although the restaurant was very busy the two staff coped admirably showing great attention to diners. A fabulous meal.

It was our first time at Roscoff so we decided to try this restaurant as the place looks very clean and decoration is quite shabby chic, one of the big selling point was that they have a huge English daily menu on displayed so no more half guessing what I am eating. Ok about the food -sigh- they are beautifully arranged but on the average side. Our grilled shrimps was way over cooked and the main dish suffers the same fate. Wine and sweets are excellent .......

I enjoyed my artichaut farci so much I had to go back to have it for lunch! Delicious food. Great location in the centre of Roscoff. Friendly, helpful & efficient staff. Liked the lights too!

Just the place for a meal before the ferry, this place has superb food, excellent service, and a great atmosphere, so give it a try when in Roscof , you will not be disappointed.

good value quality meal and good service, very busy but nothing seemed too much trouble foe the helpfull freindly staff
