Absolutely, totally different from any coffee shop/cafe we have ever been in. So interesting and quirky! A children's corner with their own tables and chairs. The walls in the loo are decorated with pictures drawn by local children, with a fishtank sitting on the cistern and an old bakelite telephone used as a toilet roll holder........ !!! There are easy chairs and an eclectic selection of chairs at the tables. It was all decorated up for Halloween, with tiny pumpkins with lollipops for the children. The owners were very welcoming and cheery. Very happy to offer information about their lovely town. The coffee was fab...served with Halloween styled sweets I had a pair of fangs! Just wish tha...

Recently stopped in for a quick lunch and was so surprised at how great this place was. I tried a homemade pie - which that day was a goats cheese and pear pie with crumble topping, and absolutely loved it. I also tried a meat selection. Both came with salads and it was all really delicious. The staff were so friendly and polite which was lovely and the setting was beyond cute with lots of interesting decor. I even saw the lady who was serving offer a couple of kids toys to play with which was really sweet. It's a little bit tight for space inside the cafe but well worth it in my opinion.

Went here for lunch, small place, interesting menu with lots of platters served on slate. We tried the specials bruschetta, tarte and the burger. Home made tarte was cooked with aubergines, the bruschetta was disappointing, although interesting ingredients this was served on a slice of white warm bread as opposed to the grilled olive oiled bread you would think. Other than that this place was lovely, if we went again we would choose differently.

Very cosy little place, where beside the food, which is great, you can buy a second hand furniture, books (6 euros for one kilo), dining dishes etc. We had some Pea soup, with some baguette and variety of cheese... and all that with Bob Dylan's Blonde on Blonde in the background. Simple and tasty
