La Botella has been around for far far longer than I have been visiting Aviles (which is around 20 years now) and this time I went here with my wife and mother in law to have lunch. We took three dishes, calamares en su tinta, Pulo a la Gallega and fritos de Pixin. All the dishes were very good, especially the calamares and the pixin. We washed down the whole meal with a bottle of Jose Pariente which is a nice moderately priced white wine from the Rueda. The waiter was helpful and friendly and we enjoyed the visit.
the restaurant specializes mainly in dishes of the typical gastronomy of the concejo de avilés. inside the dishes that should not stop trying are: the great stews based on all kinds of fish and seafood; the merluza to the avilesine, the peppers filled with pork hands, the fish soup, the soup, the sardines of wine, the meat of peas. and for dessert: turkey bacon, hood cake, turkeys and rice with milk, among other sweets.
We have eaten phenomenal and the waiter who has treated us in addition to advice perfectly has explained to us the curiosities of the sea and recommended which parts of the seafood to eat and how. good quality price and the product was very fresh. the rice with spectacular milk and the octopus and the true zamburiñas (the real ones) very good. I recommend it.
Well, the gender is of good quality and the elaboration is very correct, they would have to improve perhaps a bit of attention and presentation, but the fundamental thing, which is the food is very correct. They have virrey (not red dove) and good pieces.

This place is amazing. Great prices , fresh fish from the market and a very friendly service. We be been for dinner and lunch. You should try the local fish, which is also the speciality of the house, called virrey !
The best steak I've ever tasted. The clams to the sailor also leave you without words. I recommend this wonderful place.
