The marinara sauce, which used to be fresh, garlicky, and lively, tasted overcooked and reminiscent of store-bought jar sauce. My chicken dish felt more like it had been put together rather than cooked with care. The sauce was simply drizzled on top instead of being integrated during the cooking process, which is where the flavors truly blend. I typically order during the week, so the chefs might be different, but this Saturday night dinner was a real letdown. I ordered a salad with a few adjustments, and I was impressed by how well it turned out—it tasted fantastic! It's the best salad I've had around. My choice to add double protein and leave a tip brought the total to nearly $30, but it was definitely worth the extra $8 compared to places like Chopt or Sweetgreen. I'm happy to support a local business and will definitely be returning soon!

The paninis here are fantastic! There’s a wide variety of options, ensuring there’s something for everyone, which makes it a place you’ll want to visit repeatedly. They’re simply delicious! The food at La Bottega Syosset is delicious, but the staff is unfriendly and unwelcoming. Friendly service can truly make or break a business, so incorporating a smile or a simple greeting into their training would be beneficial. The current staff does not reflect well on the La Bottega brand.
The panini are fantastic. So many options mean there is something for everyone and there’s always a reason to go back. Just delicious!! My office will occasionally order from here and they do a great job catering those events as well.
The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. However, the atmosphere was quite unremarkable. While the prices were on the higher side for the type of cuisine, I must admit the quality of the food made up for it.
There are multiple La Bottega locations on Long Island, and I've dined at five of them. This specific location stands out to me. I rate it four stars because their chicken can sometimes be inconsistent.

I absolutely love the food here! The only downside is that they don't open until 11 AM, so if you order delivery for lunch, it won’t arrive until after 12:30 PM.
The paninis here are outstanding, and the location is fantastic. The atmosphere is perfect for dining in as well.
