Ate here for the very first time and we all really enjoyed the whole experience. Great wine, great food and lovely ambiance. The truffle appetizer was delicious and the lasagna was outstanding. But, the real highlight was the owner Angelo. He gave us such a warm welcoming greeting, checked in on us and just seems like a very sincere, authentic Italian man. His son cooks I’m the back and his grandson was helping out front. It’s a beautiful family-run restaurant and you see why it’s been around for so long. Our server Michele was wonderful too. We will be heading back this weekend!
The tables are attractively set and nicely spaced, but there were 2 large parties while we were dining so the noise level was very loud and it was hard to have a conversation. The food is pretty good and portions are adequate to large. The seafood salad starter was delicious. And unlike many restaurants now, this one brings bread to the table…..a nice touch. Service was very attentive. Prices are decent.
Instead of sitting down for dinner a large party talked and took pictures and otherwise ignored and were rude to others around them. I have not seen this in other establishments who would not tolerate such noisy behavior.
Great ambiance, service was as amazing, and the owner seemed kind. Food was very good, but as nice restaurants are, pricey for what it was. Would recommend for special occasions!
