we visited île d’oléron yesterday and stopped at lunch in boyardville. there are many restaurants to choose, but we decided to continue to see boyard before eating and discovered la cabane at the end of the road to the beach. it serves delicious simple,...basic cheap snacks (€3 for a very generous part of the chips), the owner/staff are very friendly and the intention is wonderful. great for children and adults looking for a much more relaxed atmosphere for restaurants along the harbour.
