I’ve eaten here a lot and honestly the food is hit or miss, but lately more miss. Service is ALWAYS excellent. Tonight we got take out and I’m tired of being consistently disappointed. One of my shrimp tacos was completely missing the red cabbage and other toppings that come in it, the pico de gallo for my tortilla soups was missing, my husband’s quesadilla barely had any chicken, my EXPENSIVE watermelon margarita barely had any watermelon flavor in it. I have eaten here a lot and have never had a problem with the food, but today was different. I got the steak and chicken fajitas for one to go and when I opened the container all I saw were peppers. I had to dig down to the meat and when I got all the peppers off it looked like it was less than $5 of meat, if that! And what chicken I did have still had the bone in it!! I wouldn't recommend this restaurant if you or a family member is Black. It seems there is a lack of appreciation for people of color, as my sister and stepdad visited for lunch today and were noticeably overlooked, ignored, and not checked on during their meal. The customer service was terrible, and the experience felt discriminatory. I can't think of a worse situation.
All of our dishes were perfect. Waiter and service was speedy, made sure we always had drinks or whatever we needed. Very friendly. We choose to sit outside, their outdoor area is fantastic. Very relaxing as well. We will most definitely be eating there again.
