I am a habitual customer here and I have to say it's the best location of the chain, excellent food and service the kind I don't have back at home when it comes to Cuban food. The hideous 2 hour drive to Miami becomes insignificant everytime we stop at La Carreta. JR
The service was very friendly and perfect. I can't describe properly how tasty and wonderful the food was. Not something you'd expect from a family oriented restaurant. It is an experience you would find in an expensive restaurant. Great! Can't wait to go back!
When all else fails this place is always open and always has options. I love the food from their imperial chicken rice to the vaca frita! Everything made to order and if you're lucky you sometimes can listen to live music when the piano player is there.

La Carreta may be a Miami institution, but you don't want to end up in a medical one. I went Monday evening around 10pm and ordered my usual Cuban comfort
Amazing ambient, great food, and overall a good vibe place. The food is always warm from the stove to your plate and drinks are amazing. Will go again.
