This is the kind of restaurant one wants to find while travelling. We've been on a Road Trip through Spain and Portugal for several weeks. And this place here is one that we will remember for a long long time. It's not in Ajo itself (TA shows that wrong on the map), but more to the north of it close to the lighthouse Faro de Cabo Ajo. It's a fantastic restaurant with a big list of wonderful items. Also daily specials like Paella or Lobster. As well as many small plates. Since there's wasn't any Paella on the menu that day we decided to go for the fresh Lobster in rice. And what a great choice that was. Simply the best Lobster we've ever had....and we quite had some. It was similar to a Paell...
Without doubt the worst restaurant I have visited in Spain. The hostess was unhelpful and downright rude. The toilets were disgusting. The men's toilet had no seat and in the women's toilet the flush didn't work you had to reach into the mouldy black cistern to flush it. Both toilets were dirty. A dirty toilet is normally a sign of a dirty kitchen and the hair I found in my badly cooked egg indicated that was the case here. The food was greasy, not well cooked, and overpriced for what it was.

Experiencia inesperada y muy agradable, lo encontramos por casualidad y preguntamos por si admitían perritos y nos dijeron que si en la terracita de afuera. Trato muy agradable, comida muy buena, raciones grandes. Un lugar para volver.

Me ha gustado mucho la experiencia. La camarera muy agradable y atenta. La comida riquísima. Las rabas muy buenas y el arroz caldoso de bogavante espectacular, con mucho sabor y mucha cantidad.
El lugar es bonito, la presentación del local me gustó, la carta tenía de todo!! Un placer para el paladar!! Quedamos encantados, volveremos sin duda magnífica atención.
Great menus are available, mariscada, chuleton and rice with lobster. Seafood incredible, very local old style taberna, don't trust the exterior appearance
