The service was dreadful the waitress looked as if she'd gone on an Italian strike following a row she'd had with the older woman proprietor?, who was not much more adept herself at giving service, although neither seemed to me to be acting out...of malice, but rather out of ignorance of the customer's rights. On top of this, we had to order an extremely expensive and small bottle of water, and didn't get any free water even after that. I had to resort to drinking water in the toilet seriously. And, most importantly, the food took at least minutes to arrive I think I'm being generous here on top of about minutes waiting to order. Also, this was the most expensive restaurant we'd been to in G...

I had been disappointed on my previous trip as we couldn't get a table, but this time we were lucky. We both loved the decor very eclectic and interesting. Everywhere was beautifully clean including the loos at the back of the restaurant. We...were made welcome and the staff all seemed to speak English. We enjoyed our food, my partner had the beef carpaccio and I had a lovely salad. We both opted for tagliatelle with different sauces and enjoyed them very much. Definitely worth visit if you can get in

Delicious experience in a very nice and cosy corner, hidden between the big beer gardens. French kitchen at its best, way lighter than German Braten co. The warm foie gras is to die for. So is the goat cheese salad. Or meat! Be careful...on the size of the desserts they come in full tarts : Worth the high bill for a special occasion! The owner, a friendly FrenchGerman speaking lady from Alsace, is also around to get things rolling. Felt like at home

Very nice place. The atmosphere is homely like in a grandmother's house. Good traditional food and nice and welcoming service. A good choice of wines and the lady gave us recommendations. We were happy and liked everything. I can only complain that one of the...desserts, an apple flammkuchen, was not as good as we would expect, an apple strudel or a traditional French tart taten would be much better to have in such place Book a table now

We chose La Casserole over many other restaurants in the pedestrian zone as it was one of the few to offer regional food. Our choice was the right one. The outdoor table with the now needed protections was great and allowed for the restaurant to...seat more guests. We both chose the Alsatian wurst salad. The salad came coming egg and a baguette was perfect for a warm day.

Pizza and Greek salad were great but we were ignored after our food arrived. We normally order two rounds of drinks but not tonight so restaurant lost additional sale. Restaurant had other customers but was not packed, three nearby tables seemed to be getting more...attention. We had to flag the waitress to get the check

Cosy restaurant with a very good food. We tried the beef carpaccio and a goat cheese salad followed by prawn tagliatelle an veal schnitzel. Was all delicious! It’s a family business run efficiently and we were very pleased with the service. I would say that...this restaurant is a little gem in Baden Baden Book a table now

The place serves typical Alsace dishes like Flammkuchen, so if you've been in Strasbourg and tried it all, you won't be surprised. Rumpsteak was great, Lammhaxe was OK, the wine was average and overpriced. So if you tried already Alsace specialities, I would look for...a different place
