This was our first time at La Catena. We went with friends who highly recommended it. And we're glad they did. The service was outstanding. The wait staff was very attentive. Their Caesar salad is delicious and it is fun to watch them prepare it at the table. I ordered the Bronzino which was cooked to perfection. The server filleted it and prepared it with sauce at the table as well. As a nice finale, the server offered a complimentary after dinner liqueur. I chose the orange sambuca. It added the perfect touch to finish off the meal. We look forward to dining there again soon.
A wonderful local place where you are treated like an old friend. The food is delicious, offering a great variety of amazing dishes and the service is very attentive. They also make a a special pasta and fish dishes tableside that alone are worth the trip. Great for a date night or family gathering. Don’t skip the homemade desserts because they are delicious as well.
The food as always was excellent. The tables are spread out enough so that it never feels crowded. The service is professional and the owner is caring. The menu is varied. I highly recommend any of the chicken or veal dishes. They're melt in your mouth tender.
