My son came back from his mother service and wanted a huge steak so that we treated him in La Charrue. The meat is excellent and good, as the owner was former butcher. You can get all cuts, but look for the specials as you can get very good deals. We finally took a fillet steak and two of us had a fondue Bouruignonne with mixed horse and beef. The meat was delicious and delicate! It is served with frits and sauces and you keep more meat until you have enough. Service is fine and prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. The restaurant has a 70's/80's decor, but this is not much to do if you are looking for a fix of red meat!
La Charrue Restaurant is an excellent family restaurant. The selection of foods is fantastic, many choices of meat and fish. You can take a multi-course menu from a large selection. Food quality is excellent. Friendly team and service with family style. This is a perfect restaurant for every day. With my best recommendations.
This is my favorite restaurant in the area! The meat is excellent, the service is very good and children are welcome... My favourite food: the Chateaubriand, the Angus-Rind entrecôte, the Fondue-Chinoise, the émincé de veau à la zurichoise .
I've always been going there and this is by far the best meeting restaurant that you can find in the canton of Neuchâtel... the cherry on the cake is that the prices are unbeatable... much good value for money!!!
