Pros: The view!! It is only reason to eat here. Location is incredible the the property is unique and amazing, and I wish I had stayed at the hotel. Do not go there if you will eat inside. The food is not worth the trip, only the patio. Cons: The appetizers we received were horrible and they should be ashamed to have served them to us, never mind charging us ~25 euros each. The Barbajuans looked and tasted like they pulled them from a box in the freezer and heated them in the oven. And the shrimp tempura was wrapped in heavy dough and deep fried until the shrimp was dry as leather and essentially inedible. The seabass for two was fresh and cooked correctly, though not particularly inspired....

We came here three years ago and thought it was wonderful. Our return visit today just confirmed that this is somewhere special. The views across the coast and Cap Ferat are fantastic but it is also the exclusivity, excellent food and efficient and friendly service that make it. Yes, it’s expensive and they are still taking a credit card deposit to confirm your reservation. Valet parking is doing a fantastic job with limited space. All the staff were attentive without being intrusive and all the food was well presented and full of flavour. This is a wonderful place and the whole experience was outstanding. We can’t wait to come back.

Ate at Les Ramparts in the restaurant of La Chèvre d’Or ? as it was at night and it felt like the add on break out room at a conference. Lots of windows, tables in rows odd vibe and totally uninteresting. The food was a little better than mediocre there is simply better stuff out there. However the sales pitch by the sommelier was outrageous recommended €700+ wines as his opening statement. We settled on a wine which was then left to “breath”…I’m not sure just opening and leaving the wine ticks that box. Anyway…

A very small menu and uneven taste. The service in the restaurant is especially inattentive and the prices are high. All that's left is the stunning view from the windows
