Had lunch here, following my husbands ride up (and descent) Mont Ventoux. What a fabulous place! Lovely shady terrace and fantastic food. Great wine choices too. We chose a menu and had the Morue (salt cod) starter. Not only was it visually appealing it was absolutely delicious. And so many wonderful textures. A very accomplished dish. This was followed by a Pintade (guinea fowl) dish. Roast Pintade on a beautiful creamy Spelt risotto with a tasty ratatouille. Everything was just so beautifully cooked and presented. We booked this restaurant based on the trip advisor reviews and were not disappointed. The meal was first class and the setting on the terrace was beautiful. We choose the 4 course set menu which included Foire Gras and the most excellent lamb which was all beautifully presented. The service was good and it was a lovely evening. I think this is the best food we have had in France for a long time and highly recommended. We were celebrating our Anniversary but there was a real mix of customers although interestingly not many french. We took a taxi from Bédoin which was well worth it as La Colombe is about 4 miles from the town.
My wife and ate dinner here when staying in the village recently. Two fixed menus of 3 courses are available. We ate from both of these menus and all courses were excellent. Service was friendly and efficient. Outside tables have a nice view positioned on a shaded terrace. We did reserve a table as it was a Friday evening and all the outside tables did get taken. Recommended for that special meal.
Sunday lunch. There is a good chef in the kitchen. Service very friendly, changes to the menu no problem. The taste and presentation of the dishes impeccable. Comfortable chairs on the nice terrace outside, all tables well protected from the sun. We will be back here!
