"We have eaten here several times. Staff are friendly. Great mischta salad and Chianti wine. The grilled meat special is enough for two people with lamb, veal, and steak."

Situated on the edge of the town, next to the industrial/hotel area near to the airport, this is a little gem of ‘Italianness’ in Germany! We arrived after 9pm and although very busy, we managed to find a table outside (very hot at the time). We could have menus in German, Italian and English. Starters of bruschetta, insalat caprese and vitello tonnato were thoroughly enjoyed, as were the mains fish platter and penne al forno. Plenty to eat. So good, I went the next day to have a salad and was not disappointed....but it was huge! Tasty though! I would return and maybe try a pizza next time as they looked good.

Excellent authentic Italian pizza! Honestly, I usually prefer American pizza to traditional Italian, but the pizza here was excellent... I have the Pizza Rustica two nights in a row despite a few dozen choices. And to be in Germany. And their kitchen is open up to at least 2300...in contrast to many when the German restaurants that are opened as late but their kitchens near 2200. Much better than any pizza I had in Rome, or the birthplace of pizza in Naples.

I came to dinner with a colleague hoping to get a table (Montagnacht), but knew that the restaurant would be busy due to a large fair near this week. It took a few minutes before the decision if we could have a table. The service was very slow due to several large tables in the restaurant. I had a pizza I enjoyed together with a generous glass of Italian red. Panna Cota for Dessert was pretty bland. It's not a bad experience, it wouldn't scare back.

We were staying the Parkhotel opposite and fancied pizza for dinner. After quickly being seated we were given the menu, and wow, the choice of pizza and pasta is vast. We got some beers and awaited our food, although busy was actually quite quick to be served. All meals enjoyed, but my pizza was rather good. We definitely go again and recommend.
