La Consentida - Table reservation

I 've never experienced such a bad service in LP. I smiled and greeted the waitress and she turned her head to look anywhere else as she acknowledged we were foreigners Italians), pretending we did not exist. The man did almost the same and provided us with the worst table available with the worst service. We went away without ordering anything. There are way better places to eat in Las Canteras. To the nice waitress: please note we are PAYING, even if we are tourist...so we deserve the same service as anyone else.

Homey, local meals, all of the typical Canarias dishes in one place. Moderate prices, shareable portions, and very helpful staff that will make you order enough, not too little, not too much you always can order more, and the service is usually quick, even in busy hours. I ate there more than 10 times. Very casual place, very basic and local. In a good way, for me.

Unfortunately, you won 't be serviced if you 're a foreigner. No communication, therefore a big chance to order a false food (which we did). We took Octopus in clothing there were maybe a few grams of octopus, the rest cheek beans. The worst restaurant we experienced on Promenade.

One of the very best places to eat local ,traditional canarian food . A small restaurant with a very fresh and tasty food . We ate grilled octopus with potatoes and the popular red sauce for the potatoes !

I really enjoyed coming to La Pena for lunch or dinner. Fresh, deliciously prepared food, nice people, location on the embankment with a beautiful view.
