La Contea had been on my list of places to try in Baton Rouge for years and I'm so glad that I finally gave them a try. They were surprisingly more upscale than I was expecting, yet very reasonably priced. Easily one of the sleeper hits in Baton Rouge that I didn't know I was missing out on, but I' easily a fan now. The arancini was better than the ones I had in Italy.
Came for the restaurant week and was blown away by the food and service. The food was rich, tasty and amazing overall with great portions. My waiter Dominick definitely made the experience that is much bigger with his recommendations and incredible personality. I'm sure I'm back and I'm planning on when my next visit will be.
Certainly one of the most amazing places I have experienced. The staff was amazing and well versed in the wine selection and very attentive. The feeling of the dining room was comfortable, but extremely modern and very high end feeling. The owner was very friendly and friendly. Get fucked again.
My bf took me here because he knew I loved Italian food and I got a new job. It was an amazing experience! Live music, amazing drinks and the food was even better. 10/10 recommend this place! Plus our server was great as well! I can’t remember her name but she has pink/red in her bangs
