Previously my wife and I had stayed in the Hotel and eaten by the pool, on this occasion as non residents a family evening dinner at the beachside Corniche. We had enjoyed the food and service in the Hotel, but not this time. Our grandson ordered mussels and chips, the chips arrived before any dish for anybody else and were returned, 90 minutes later the mussels appeared, this time no chips. My calamari were of a rubbery consistency, to be followed by Tuna Tataki, again not soft and fresh. There appeared to be no coordination between the ever changing staff, and at 200 euros for 4 adults and two small children, hardly value for money
Very poor, wheels seem to fall off when busy. Mains arrived before starters were finished and as a result were cold. Had the beef tenderloin for main, one of the most expensive things on the menu, didn't eat the garnish as it was cold and soggy, ate the steak because of the price but had a large bit of gristle through it (cows fault? . It's a shame we've had some good meals here in the past but recently it seems to be very hit and miss.
Reasonably priced food, not really home-made but it tastes as if it was. It's a classic place with a classic cuisine, with lovely views and nice staff. Great variety of dishes, though one misses some vegan ones (most family or friend gatherings have at least one vegan or lactose intolerant member). I would advise the cook to work on that (no, vegans don't enjoy having salads when they eat out). Way too many dishes with dairy products.
Excellent accueil et un rapport qualité prix imbattable à palamos. Le cadre est très agréable ainsi que les serveurs. La cuisine est bonne avec des petites perles au milieu de la carte. Il y a vraiment moyen de se faire plaisir pour 25 euros par personne. Quand on voit les prix pratiqués un peu plus loin pour des plats basiques c'est vraiment un bon plan. 2 années que nous y retournons et toujours aussi charmé. Bonne continuation!

We had lunch yesterday and we were really impressed by the menu del dia ! The quality is very good and price 15 euro 's is also very great! We had mussels, paella and ice creams! The paella was the best ever! Also you get the house wine red) with your menu! The red wine was also fantastic! Also the staff is very friendly and professional. I recommend this to everyone!
Our main reason for this visit was to try the Fideua which we had tasted at a Gastronomic Feria in Palamos. We were not disappointed and would also recommend the baby octopus in a light curry sauce. The location is great as is the service from a large troup of waiters. Highly recommended.
We've eaten the menu for the first time and everything was very good, some fish melons were very good and the rice was great, very abundant food and desserts were very good, thanks and we'll repeat.
Comimos en la terraza, justo al lado de la playa. Comida buena, servicio rápido y atento. Precio acorde a los platos y al lugar. Zamburiñas, anchoas, gambas, bebida y postre. Dos personas 100 €.

This is the beachfront annex of Hotel Trias. Food and service are average and prices are typical of a tourist restaurant. The best value is the view of the bay.
