I have been to Val d'Isere six times, for a week each time, and have eaten at many of the restaurants in town. I've eaten twice at La Corniche. Both times were disappointing. It gets very loud in the evening; you should expect to wait...to be seated; the service is rushed and inattentive; and the food is of poor quality in view of the prices charged. it's not a horrible place, but you can do so much better in Val d'Isere.
all dishes are very expensive. So far, nothing abnormal, we're in the val of aisle! We ordered a raclette and were surprised not to have one crudity...We ask, then, some salad leaves. general surprise at the receipt of the note, these few sheets were charged to us 7€50!!!! inadmissible! Great disappointment!
good cheese! very medium desserts. but a very surprising way of the waitress and the boss when one of us ordered a genepi! I quote: "It's ordered, it's paid!" we know how a restaurant works!!! we pay what we order. bin keeps the genepi tone. I specify that the note has exceeded 600 euros! Very nice!!!
I read the reviews before going and was concerned that there were several reviews which said that the service was terrible. I went in expecting the worst but it was actually fantastic. The service was some of the best we received in resort. The food...was fantastic. I could not recommend more! Book a table now
Hidden authentic French restaurant We had two dinners here and tried very authentic French dishes. We loved it! The restaurant is simple but have a good choice of food and nice service. Not all staff speaks English but it works out anyhow.
A restaurant that we return to year after year. Food always very good, service always very French. Don’t expect to rush in and out but the food is great. Good choice of wine. One we go to at least once in every visit to Val
the restaurant is located in the old town but a little back. the traditional decoration with wood and utensils is warm and elegant. service is cordial, good food.
Thank you for your honesty . I left my handbag on the back of my chair and when I returned the next day it was safe in a cupboard with the contents untouched. Book a table now
the quality is there, but attention to the hot stone, you must absolutely ask to check the meat weighing because they tend to not really put the quantity!!!
