We 've tried a lot of Morzine restaurants already this season, and La Coupe, which we 've visited twice now, is up there with the best of them. It 's pretty new I think it 's a new incarnation of an older restaurant and has such a lovely buzz about it. There 's a big roaring fire with sofas to chill in, and the bar and restaurant have an equally relaxed feel to them. The food is really good too. 'Foodie ' enough to provide relief from the usual mountain fare, but no foams, smears or art installations.
